Nintendo Wii Releases Update
Newest Releases Nintendo Wii
Nintendo’s Wii platform continues to gain popularity as the company continues to release numerous fun and exciting titles for gamers. Below are a few of the newer games released or about to be released in the near future.
Jockey:G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer
While many of you aren’t old enough to place bets in an online horse racing game or even play on online casinos, you can still enjoy all the thrill and excitement of horse
racing with Champion Jockey:G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer for the Wii. Pegged as the “spiritual successor to the G1 Jockey series” the game offers players the chance to experience what it’s like to be a real jockey. With levels ranging from novice to advanced, there are various styles of races offered. Traditional turf and dirt races are offered as well steeplechase races. There are 19 different tracks that you can play on as you whip, jump fences, and race your horse to the finish line.
Mario Party 9
Yes, you read that correctly. Yet another episode of the popular Mario Party series is due out on March 11th on the Nintendo Wii. Several new features are available with the upcoming release including a Boss Battle at the end of each stage. Players will also have the opportunity to ride together in special vehicles across stages, allowing each to have a turn at being the Captain of the vehicle. Each stage will also have multiple paths to go with clearly defined destination stages. This means that each time you play, you will get a new experience. There will also be 80 new minigames ranging from making pizzas to racing snowmobiles.
Oregon Trail
You can’t get much more old school than Oregon Trail, the classic western expansion game made popular in the early 1980’s on the PC. Now, a new generation of players will be able to experience the game on the Wii but in a new way. Unlike the old school text based RPG, players get the experience of actually interacting with the trail as players try to get their family across 2,000 miles of country between Independence City, MO and Oregon City. Hunt, fish, and drive your wagon along the trail while trying to avoid danger and keep your family alive and healthy. It’s not as easy as it looks, which is why the realistic game was a favorite among Millions in the 80’s and promises to be so once again for a new generation of players.
