Top Tier Tactics calls for the immediate resignation of Activision CEO Bobby Kotick, for the 10th year in a row.

For more than a decade, T3 — the preeminent website in video game strategy, satire, and Bobby Kotick disdain — has stood at the forefront of a movement. That movement stood for one important thing:

Fuck Bobby Kotick.

Don’t believe us? Why, we’ve had a #fuck-bobby-kotick WordPress post tag since before Activision ruined published Diablo 3.

Now that it’s 2021, it’s trendy to call for the resignation of Bobby Kotick. It seems gaming journalists the world over are tripping over themselves, only now realizing they dislike a guy who oversaw the pilfering of multiple studios, who helped patent vile anti-consumer/pro-gambling gimmicks, and who somehow couldn’t get a decent haircut for 15 years straight.

Just because he also “oversaw rampant sexual harassment and discrimination” and “may or may not have threatened to have an employee killed in a voicemail.”

That’s okay. We’re not bitter.

We’re just glad to be on the right side of history.

So today, November 19 2021… and I guess every day for the last ten years, the editorial staff (read: me) hereby calls for the immediate resignation of Activision-Blizzard-LizzardLeague CEO Bobby Kotick.
